Write to us and a person reads it. Before you do, the fixes below solve most of what comes up.

Contact us

Email contact@deductify.org.

Tell us what happened and what you expected instead. If it concerns a specific dose or notification, include the date and time. It makes the difference between a guess and an answer.

Reminders are not arriving

Almost always one of these:

  1. Notification permission. iOS Settings → Notifications → CareDuo. Allow notifications, and turn on Lock Screen, Banners and Sounds.
  2. Focus or Do Not Disturb. A Focus mode can silence CareDuo. Add it as an allowed app for the modes you use, particularly Sleep.
  3. Scheduled Summary. If CareDuo is in a Scheduled Summary, its reminders are held back and delivered in a batch. Remove it from the summary.
  4. Low Power Mode can delay delivery.
  5. The time is right, the day is not. Check the schedule's days of the week.

An invitation is not working

  • Invitations are single use and expire after a few days. Issue a new one.
  • The code has the form CARE-XXXXXX. It is not case sensitive, and it contains no characters that are easily confused for one another.
  • The invitation must be accepted on the caregiver's own device, in CareDuo.
  • If it was already accepted, that code will not work a second time.

A caregiver cannot see doses

  • Confirm the invitation was accepted, not just opened.
  • Confirm they are looking at the right person's day.
  • Doses appear once someone acts on them. A day with nothing confirmed yet is genuinely empty rather than broken.

A dose shows as missed but was taken

A dose stays confirmable for a while after its scheduled time, and confirming it late records it as taken. Past that window it stays missed, so that history someone else relies on cannot be rewritten indefinitely.

Removing a caregiver

In the app, open the Care Circle, select the caregiver, and remove them. It takes effect immediately: no more dose visibility, no more alerts.

Before you write to us about medication

CareDuo cannot answer clinical questions. We cannot tell you whether two medications interact, whether to take a dose you missed, or what a dosage should be. A pharmacist can, usually the same day, and usually for free.

Common questions

How do I delete my account and data?

Use account settings in the app, or write to the support address on this page. Deleting your account removes your medications and dose history and ends caregivers' access. See the privacy policy.

How do I report a bug?

Write to us with your iPhone model, iOS version, and what you expected to happen. If it involves a notification, the time it should have arrived helps a great deal.

Do you offer medical guidance?

No. CareDuo cannot advise on medication, interactions or dosages. Ask a pharmacist or a doctor.
